Accessing Your Money

It's your money - and our philospohy at the RTA Staff Credit Union is to make accessing your money as simple as possible, whether you live in the city, a regional centre or the bush.

Below is a summary of how you can access the funds in your Credit Union account.

Branch Service

We still believe in branch service. You can make enquiries and conduct all of your banking at our friendly branch. Visit us today.

NetTeller

NetTeller is a fast, sophisticated and very secure Internet banking service. Naturally, it is available around the clock every day of the year. You can use this service to check on your accounts, pay bills using BPAY, transfer funds between your accounts and to other financial institutions, handle your business banking, monitor recent cheque book, credit and debit card transactions, view information on interest you have earned or paid, and a host more.

PhoneTeller

You have 24-hour access to your accounts via a secure, automated phone service. It offers many - although not all - of the features of NetTeller and is very easy to use.

To access the service simply call our Member Contact Centre on (02) 8202 8555 (Sydney) or 1300 652 274 (Country areas). The service is free, all you pay for is the cost of a local phone call.

BPAY

No one likes paying bills, it can be a real pain. For most people, paying in person or by mail is not always convenient. Paying a single bill by phone is convenient but can be time-consuming.

Now there's another way. BPAY. With BPAY, you can pay all those tiresome bills in one hit - over the phone or over the Internet 24 hours, 365 days a year. BPAY is easier, faster, better.

Redicard

Redicard is linked to your savings accounts and provides you with access to your funds and cash advances, 24 hours a day through 12,000 ATMs and 362,000 EFTPOS outlets around Australia and through hundreds of thousands of outlets around the world.

VISA Debitcard

Access your funds, make purchases online or in person at literally millions of merchants all over the world with your RTA Staff Credit Union VISA card.

Bank@Post

If you live in a regional or country area, Bank@Post is a great new way to access your Credit Union account. Simply go into any Australia Post office (there's more than 3,100 of them around the country), swipe your card, and you can deposit or withdraw from your RTA Staff Credit Union account. Direct Debit/Credit Services

You can remove the hassle and time associated with paying bills by setting up a Direct Debit. With a Direct Debit you can specify the recipient, amount and the nominated intervals of your payments. You can also arrange to have money credited directly into your account with our Direct Credit system. These services are free of charge.

Personal Cheque Books

You don't need separate cheque and savings accounts. You can link a cheque
book to almost any account. We can provide you with a personal cheque book which operates on your General Savings or Business Account. Our cheque books come in books of 25, 50 or 100.

Payroll Deductions

As a Credit Union member you can have all or part of your pay deposited automatically into your account along with other funds such as rent on your investment property, share dividends, or social security payments. You can automatically repay any of your loans with funds you have at other financial institutions and have your bills paid automatically from the account you nominate.

Periodical Payments

This service enables you to make a payment or transfer to another party from your savings account on a regular basis.
